What do you want to receive from God?
Love
Wisdom
Deliverance
Self-Control
Peace
Friendship
Forgiveness
Security
Finances
Strength
Take a look at a few scriptures dealing with issues that we all face in life. God literally has the answer to everything we’ll ever face in this lifetime.
Love: “With his love he will calm all your fears” - Zephaniah 3:17
Wisdom: “She opens her mouth with wisdom and the teaching of kindness is upon her tongue” - Proverbs 31:26
Deliverance: “She sets her mind on things above. Not on earthly things” - Colossians 3:2
Self-Control: “Give God your weakness and will give you his strength” - Isaiah 40:29
Peace: “Be still and know that I am with you” - Psalm 46:10
“When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I” - Psalm 61:2
Friendship: “Encourage one another and build each other up” - 1 Thessalonians 5:11
Forgiveness: “As far as East is from West, so far he has removed our transgressions from us” - Psalm 103:12
Security: “God is with her, she will not fall” - Isaiah 46:5
“So we do not focus on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” - 2 Corinthians 4:18
Finances: “Give and it shall be given to you; A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over” - Luke 6:38
Strength: “She is clothed with dignity and strength, and she laughs without fear of the future” - Proverbs 31:25
We all face different challenges in our lives, but through God, nothing is impossible for him to swoop in and help us conquer. Scripture tells us to ASK in HIS name and we shall receive.
Now, now. Just because we ask him tonight doesn’t mean all of our problems will suddenly be gone tomorrow, next week, or even next month. I know… that doesn’t sound too great, you know, the whole waiting game. But we just have to put complete trust in God and know that he is working on our behalf right at this very moment.
“When the time is right, the Lord will make it happen” - Isaiah 60:22
I ask that wherever you are right now, you will say this this quick prayer.
Dear God,
You know me better than anyone on this earth and we both know that there are things on my heart that only you, and you alone can fix. God you said it yourself that all I have to do is ask in your name and I will receive it. So God, I ask you for __________. I put all my trust and faith in you and I know that because of you my future is full of abundant joy. God, I just want to thank you and I know that I am already blessed because I believe that you, God, will fulfill your promise to me.
